Assessing Your AWS Knowledge
There are two primary scenarios:-
New to AWS
If you are new to AWS—for example, you have recently completed the AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) certification but do not yet have extensive hands-on experience—the assessment is optional. It serves as a checkpoint to gauge your current understanding while you continue building your foundational AWS knowledge. -
Experienced with AWS
If you have been working with AWS for around six months or more and are familiar with core concepts such as the global infrastructure or compute services like EC2, ECS, and EKS, then this assessment is especially valuable. It will help you pinpoint both your strengths and areas where additional learning is needed. For example, if you are already comfortable with compute services, you might breeze through that section and instead focus on other topics to deepen your overall expertise.
A lower score on this assessment is not a setback—it highlights areas for growth and improvement. Conversely, a high score indicates a strong foundation, though we still recommend progressing through the entire course to ensure you cover any hidden gaps.
